    Future Events

    Listed below are events which may increase the chances of extra flights into mainly Cardiff Airport but also Cardiff Heliport. Generally information as regards these flights are likely to appear of the SWAG facebook page a few days prior to the event but if advance information is available then it hopefully listed below

    Firstly Rugby Fixtures - The following matches are due to take place for the Welsh International team which we believe will lead to extra flights.

    For your diaries the 2019 Championship matches which again we believe extra flights might take place.

    France v Wales, Friday 1st/2nd February
    Italy v Wales, Saturday 9/10 February
    Wales v England, Saturday 23/24 February
    Scotland v Wales, Saturday 9/10 March
    Wales - Ireland, Say 16 March

    2018 Autumn Series 
    Wales' opponents will be Scotland (3 Nov), Australia (10 Nov), Tonga (17 Nov) and South Africa (24 Nov).

    Other Rugby Fixtures - Extra flights which may include local region and/or opponents are generally only known a week or so ahead of the game and subsequently  they will appear on the daily blog rather than this page.

    Football Fixtures - The following matches are due to take place for the Welsh International team. 
    UEFA Nations cup 
    Ireland 6/9 in Cardiff
    Denmark 9/9 away 
    Ireland 16/10 in Dublin
    Denmark 16/11 in Cardiff

    Premiership [Swansea F.C] and Championship [Cardiff] Matches
    Generally both clubs tend to use Cardiff airport when travelling to away matches but when playing at home Swansea do have regular visiting clubs using the airport. However information will tend to be placed on the daily blog rather than this page.

    Other Events - The following events may result in extra flights.
    27 May - Start of preparations for the Volvo Round the World Yacht Race - week leading up to the 8th June large numbers of visitors are expected to visit Cardiff Bay.

    Other Events Locally

    Various RAF 100th Anniversary Celebration events are due to take place in May outside Cardiff City Hall. 

    No aircraft involved but locally displayed in nearby Cowbridge between April 7 - Oct 20 2018 is a celebration of 80 years of engineering training and engineering excellence at RAF St Athan
