Cardiff IAP Airport open as NOTAMed ..runway in use 30

Visitors
Landing at 10:17 from Dublin is VOR9 "Flightcal 09"  DA62 G-TACN ..parking on the Southside ..airborne 12:05 to calibrate the ILS ..landed 13:37 parking Southside with Global Trek ..departed at 14:51 to Shoreham 
Landing at 10:55 is "GZEVS" Reims/Cessna F.172H G-ZEVS ..parking on the GA apron ..departed at 11:29 to the West
Landing at 11:44 from Sywell is BRO46 "Broadsword 46" PA-3B-310 Turbo Navajo G-RHYM ..parking on the Cambrian apron with Global Trek ..departed mid afternoon back to Sywell with the same c/s
Landing at 17:44 from LEMG/Malaga is AHO247A "Air Hamburg 247A" Embraer EMB-505 Phenom 300 D-CROG ..parking on the Cambrian apron

St Athan Airfield  Airfield open 09:00-17:00 Weds-Sun & PPR ..runway in use 25
Residents active today: G-EECYG-MCGW, G-HEOI, G-OFTI, G-ZZZA (engine runs)

PA-28 G-OFTI suffered a mishap and landed short of 25 near the golf course due to engine failure. Both occupants thankfully are fine and didn't receive any injuries. The aircraft has been recovered and will return to flying status soon.
