Just seen (0830) overshooting on runway 12 was Hercules C.5 ZH882/882 from the LTW c/s "RRR525"

Just landing (0940) is CL604 Challenger G-EMLI of Twinjet Aircraft c/s "Twinjet 6"..this one has been doing circuits for the last hour and is now about to depart to Luton (1055)

AW139 " 275 " of the Irish Air Corp has just gone Eastbound along the coast (1045)...this has landed at Filton

Cessna 525 I-IMMI just landing on 30 (1110) c/s "LVN716".....BEAST !...this one now departing for Luton (1520)

Cessna 525 I-IMMI c/n 525-0379 on echo (Ian G)

Resident King Air G-MEGN now departing (1120)

RichT reports Hawker CS-DFC of NetJets Europe plus a Cessna 650 on echo (1200)...cheers

The Cessna 650 on echo is OY-CLP of North Flying A/S....BEAST !..this one now departing (1410) c/s "North Flying 063"..route today was EKRK-EGFF-EKRK

MOD St Athan Information - EGSY 07/25

To spot here you're best off taking the B4265 St Athan to Llantwit Major road. From here you will see a railway bridge that leads to a paved track that runs along the fence and runway. This track leads to an unmanned entrance gate and is under CCTV surveillance. If you use this track, please park at the far end, not on the verges, as it is used by wide farm vehicles and delivery lorries. All a/c in outside storage can be seen from the bridge itself. The track can also be accessed via St Athan village via Llantwit Road opposite the Church. To view the Caerdav hangar (Twin Peaks) and scrapping area continue westbound along the B4265, past the West Gate entrance and turn right at the traffic lights. Follow this road to the T-junction and turn right onto the new road. The entrance road to the South Wales Aviation Museum is left at the next traffic lights, views can also be had from here as it's the only convenient stopping place. Be aware there are regular Security and Police patrols around the airfield and you may be stopped and questioned.
